Preconstruction

In the Preconstruction Phase, RP Witt Construction thoroughly reviews plans and specifications. Then we put together bid packages for subcontractor bidding. We meet with each subcontractor to quantify scope and qualify their bid for inclusions and exclusions. The estimators compile the bid information and compare them for estimating and budgeting purposes.

Our goal is to provide accurate estimates at the schematic design stage and meet the original estimate on a 1 to 1 ratio. In order to meet this goal we have established core procedures that are a fundamental necessity.

Project planning also begins at this stage and the formation of preliminary schedules, information controls, and a site logistics plan is critical for successful project planning. Once the construction team has established subcontractors, we begin to develop our construction schedule, fine tune the site logistics plan and create our project specific environmental health and safety plan.
